It's been a hectic week with little time left for fun in the studio. Why not share a pic of Wilson then? Wilson is one of my barn cats and in my humble opinion, one of the sweetest kitties EVER. He has only two goals in life - to eat and to be loved.

Catching Up
It's been a month since I last posted? Yikes! I've been a busy little bee. I took some time off from the shop and the day job to spend time with my son for Spring Break. Then I took a little more time off and spent it working in the studio - bliss! Here's a tiny glimpse of what I've been up to...
I bought some pretty, sparkly gemstones!
I started experimenting with mixing leather and gems. Still a work in progress, but I think the end results will be lovely.
I spent too much time watching the kitty sleep...but he's too cute to resist!
More work in progress
A finally, here's a few completed projects (there are too many to list)...
You can see all the new pieces here.

Sunshine & Laundry
This past weekend got off to a rocky start with lots of rain Friday night and early Saturday morning. By mid-morning, the sun came out and blue skies appeared again...just in time for my clothes dryer to die. *Big Sigh* I took advantage of the sunshine and brisk breezes by putting up a temporary clothesline in the backyard. I had forgotten how good clothes smells after they have been dried outside.
I took a few more pics while I was enjoying the sunshine and then tried out my new Florabella actions and textures. I'm still working out the kinks, but each time I use them the results get a little better.
Jack hanging out on the back porch. Someone dumped him on our road a few months back and he adopted our family. He is such a sweet boy!
